The crumbling, earthquake ravaged churches of Antigua are a photographer’s dream (and quite possibly a civil engineer’s nightmare). I wouldn’t go as far as calling myself a photographer, but I can categorically state I am not a civil engineer.

While we were dilly-dallying about in Santa María del Tule we found plenty of opportunities to head into the ‘big smoke’, Oaxaca’s state capital—Oaxaca. Sometimes on our own for errands, sometimes with friends, but nearly always with a camera.

Our time in Cuba might not have been the amazing, spectacular, wonderful journey we had imagined. It didn’t all go to plan—memorable for all the wrong reasons. However, we can’t leave our tale of Cuba on a negative note though. Glad as we were to return to Mexico, there is something intangible about that crazy, beguiling, frustrating, spellbinding, infuriating enigma of a country that calls us back.
