The city of Phnom Penh has so many other things to offer, but as you walk past the rows of waiting tuk-tuk drivers you hear the repeated chant of ‘Killing field’ ‘Genocide museum’ it soon becomes apparent where the bulk of tourists are expected to head.
The sun was setting and the tuk-tuk drivers were swarming… welcome to Phnom Penh.
Not on the same plate, but in the same day. That’s what Bangkok is all about. A city of contrasts and chaos. [This is the first in the series of posts sharing some of the photos from our last trip in 2012, while we try to be at least a little bit frugal and save for the next one in 2014.] Last year we started our jaunt around Southeast Asia in the bustling city of Bangkok. I think this city deserves a blog post all of it’s own.
This time last year we were in South East Asia. The year has gone pretty fast, think I’m about ready for another break…
