Photo Friday—Monk

Here it is, this week’s photo Friday is the obligatory photo of a monk in a temple in the fantastic city of Luang Prabang in Laos.

Luang Prabang is probably one of the most relaxing places we have visited and if we didn’t have plans to fly to Yangon from Bangkok a couple of weeks later we could easily have spent the rest of our trip there.

Great picture, and, obviously great minds think alike since I just did a post on Luang Prabang!

Doubly coincidentally I was just reminiscing with one of the girls in the office about the best accommodation we’d found thanks to TripAdvisor and top of my list was Thongbay guesthouse in Luang Prabang… how I’d love to be there right now instead of sipping my afternoon cup of tea at my desk looking wistfully at the hills through the office window.
